Principal She'Nee Young Baker leads the Roadrunners at Travis Elementary School. With 20 years in education, including three within Lamar CISD, Mrs. Young Baker has served as a teacher, School Psychologist, district At-Risk Coordinator, district PBIS/Restorative Discipline Coordinator, assistant principal, and most recently, five years as a campus principal. She is a proud graduate of the University of Houston and Our Lady of the Lake University, where she developed the foundation for her passion for educational leadership. Mrs. Young Baker is dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where students, staff, and families work together to ensure every child thrives academically and socially. She believes in building meaningful relationships and creating opportunities that prepare students for lifelong success. Beyond her professional role, Mrs.Young Baker is a proud wife and devoted parent to three children. Her personal and professional experiences continue to inspire her commitment to serving the Travis Elementary community with integrity, empathy, and enthusiasm.
